Kidz Town is a three-dimensional performance pace design to incorporate the aspects of a Real Town. The town will be designed by artists to facilitate simulation of a Town Run By Kids ages 8-14. The space will be open evenings and weekends during the school year and all day for summer and school holidays. The space will also be available by reservation for Homeschool Groups, and events such as birthday parties.

KidzTown gives 6th-grade students the rare opportunity to interact within a simulated economy and take on the role of employee, taxpayer, and consumer. During the visit to KidzTown, students receive job assignments and work in teams at their assigned business. By the end of the simulation, each student completes a day’s work, develops a personal budget, and makes purchasing decisions. This program serves as an introduction to business, entrepreneurship, and life skills and provides a pipeline of youth for our other programs.
